QQC- Campbell

"When a woman spoke, she enacted her equality, she herself was proof that she was as able as her male counterparts to function in the public space."

Do you think this view of truth/way of knowing still stands today for women? How so?

  1. I hope that in more current times it takes more than to simply be able to speak to prove ones worthiness of oration. As equals, us women should not be pitied or be expected of any less than men. We are equally capable and should be treated as so, especially in a more progressive era.

  2. I do think this still stands for women today. Hilary Clinton is an example of this, she used her rhetoric and the way she spoke against other male candidates and was almost the first female president.
