Q: Is there actual Truth in Gender theories? How can we achieve the truth through gender studies?
With gender theories being a controversial subject (especially with many people feeling very strongly about it), I think whatever people hold as their belief to be the "actual truth"; however, because this "truth" that they hold in their beliefs is based off of their own personal experience it's relative. I am not sure we would be able to find one central "truth" in gender studies because people have very strong beliefs on both ends of the spectrum, so it would be more challenging to find one, refined all-encompassing viewpoint that everyone agreed with.
ReplyDeleteGood question, I believe that using gender studies, we can achieve truths for both sides. A truth for a women is not the same truth for a man. Both went through different experiences that causes them to come to their own conclusion of the "truth"
