QQC 2

Quote: "In short, we need to see what is familiar in a different way, in many different ways, as well as to see beyond the familiar to the unfamiliar, to the unseen"

Question: How does reading pieces written by peoples from different backgrounds help/challenge you as a reader? Is it more enjoyable to read something by someone like you or far different from you?

  1. There must be a difference in character so I can grasp attention when speaking to someone. I'd believe it to be the same with reading. The more difference there is between a reader and an author, the easier it is to gauge into an article, or book, or even question. This may open up the eagerness to understand what someone else is speaking about from their perspective, and may be more engaging to the reader.
