QQC #2 - 5.22.17

Quote: "We all seem to agree that our new maps are "doing" differently why maps do: they are taking us more places, introducing us to more people, complicating our understanding in more ways than did the previous map."

Question: Throughout her essay, Glenn explains the new mapping she is attempting and learning about previously neglected women within rhetoric; do you believe there is a certain subject/group of individuals that needs to be regarded in the mapping of rhetoric? What is it and why?

  1. I think that this is very debatable. I think there is not a particular group that should be attributed to being regarded in the mapping of rhetoric. There is such controversy surrounding women and their involvement in the mapping of rhetoric and although they need a more prominent place in this process it also needs to be regarded as an equal effort but multiple parties. I am not really sure that there is just one specific group or subject that only needs to be regarded in rhetoric mapping.
