QQC 2

Quote:  "Form outlines the contour of a loss, an absence, a voice, a silence, which in turn is assumed to be the ground of history."

Question: In what way do you think truth forms history? How do you think it does it?

  1. Not to get too fake deep with it, but I think that history forms truth. I can think of plenty of cliches that illustrate that point, from "time tells all" to "history is decided by the victors." I think that truths about historic events form over time, remembered as the way that the people who benefited from them choose to remember. I also think that time is the greatest constant to apply in a study of a truth, and if it holds up over history, it can come as close to an absolute truth as possible.
