QQC

"An 'ideology' is like a god coming down to earth, where it will inhabit a space pervaded by its presence. An 'ideology' is like a spirit taking up its abode in body; it makes that body hop around in certain ways; and that same body would have hopped around in different ways had a different ideology happened to inhabit it."

Question: is it wise for us as individuals to submit to ideologies as deities? Should we give up any nuances of our personalities to worship ideologies? Or should we take ideologies with a grain of salt, as to avoid a cult population.

  1. I don't think ideologies should be worshipped or treated like deities, and we certainly shouldn't give up a part of ourselves to worship an ideology. I think ideologies should be taken with a grain of salt, and should only be used as guides in which we may form our own beliefs and ideologies. But we certainly shouldn't give ideologies too much control or power over our lives, because as you mentioned that's sort of cult like.

  2. I dont think believing in a God or Ideiology should change the way you truly are. I feel sometimes, its a good way to mold your morality as you grow but to a certain extent, it shouldn't change who hou are especially f youre not comfortable with te change. As long as you feel you grew as a person mentally and physically, for the better, i feelcit can be healthy but there are always boundaries.
